This is an opportunity to ob- tain national exposure of your artistic talents. The chosen design will be publicly un- veiled with recognition given to the artist. The winning design will become the official logo for this historic celebration. The logo will appear publicly in all types of print and video media, advertising applications, official documents, and merchandise. Submis- sions are encouraged from all Marine Corps aviation enthusiasts and supporters. A $500 prize will be awarded to the winning entry. All submitted designs will become the prop- erty of the Marine Corps Aviation Association and should be in the following format: • Distinguishable in both color and black and white formats. • Easily recreated in a variety of sizes (from mugs to banners). • Easily recognizable. • Representative of Marine Corps aviation in both history and current spirit. • Preferred formats are .jpg, .gif, or .tif. • Submitted with artist’s name, command (if applicable), and contact information. The deadline for submissions is 31 July 2009.
