우리는 바로 여기서 自由(자유)세계를 지켜냈다 자유는 공짜가 아니라 싸워서 가지는 것이다. 그들은 한국인과 미국인으로 살았지만 세계시민으로서 각자의 생명을 바쳤다. 우리는 여기서 다함께 흘린 피로 세계의 자유를 지켜낸 李承晩(이승만)·트루먼 대통령에게 敬意(경의)를 표한다. We Defended the Free World Right Here Freedom is never given, it is won. They lived as Koreans and Americans, but gave their lives as citizens of the world. We honor Presidents Rhee Syngman and Harry S. Truman for defending freedom in the world through blood shed together here.
