Hwang Byeongik/Then aged 20/ Presidential Citation (Mar. 1, 2020) Nohwa, Wando county From Oct, 28, 1922 to Apr. 30, 1984] Leading the strike to expel Japanese teachers who discriminate against Korean. to use Korean in the school, and to refuse to join Japanese National Labor Unit in his fifth grade in Yeosu Public Fisheries School, he got arrested by Japanese police and charged with the Jaw for the punishment for acts of violence and the maintenance of the public order act on November 15, 1942. Transferred from Suncheon branch of the Prosecutor's Office to Gwangju District Prosecutor's Office, he got charged with the law for the punishment for acts of violence and the maintenance of the public order act on December 21, 1942 On January 13, 1943, he got released from prison by the sentence of suspension of the indictment Although he graduated from the school as his expulsion got recanted later he continued the Anti Japanese Movement.
