As members of the union got arrested by Japanese police who detected the Yeosu Red Union Movement. he escaped from Yeosu, settled down in Bujeon-dong. Busan Metropolitan City and published the magazine Red Flag After moving to Osaka in Japan, he continued the Anti Japanese Movement with Koreans living in Japan, working day jobs such as paperboy Arrested by Japanese police while engaging in lecture activities for the Red Flag Movement in July 1936, he was in custody at Osaka jail. Later he got a conviction for violating the special security law in Japan but was released by a suspension of the indictment in January 1939.
