[영문] Tunnel Fortifications of Imperial Japan on Seoubong Peak, Jeju(No.1-2) Registered Cultural Heritage No.309, Built around 1945 Built by the Japanese for suicide attacks against the fleet of the allied forces during the Pacific War, this encampment consists of 18 cave-type mines and 2 bunkers. Of these mines, that in the form of the character “_” was built in a far more thorough and systematic manner than other Japanese naval bases for special attacks in Jeju.
